The Old Bedford Cemetery is located in a raised, wooded area off of Back River road. The cemetery dates back to the 1700's and is the resting place of Matthew Little. Matthew Little was born around 1703 based on his tombstone which indicated that he died in 1775 at the age of 72. In 1752 Matthew Little served as a Selectman and continued to serve until his death as either Selectman or Treasurer of Bedford.
Many of the occupants of the graveyard lived at a time when independence from England provided them with the opportunity to acquire land holdings, and thus wealth, and increase their stature in the small society in which they lived.
During the investigation the NEPRS medium, and team, were suprised to hear the number of ghosts who believe they were murdered by relatives over matters of inheritance, land, and money. To quote the medium, "This place is like Peyton Place."
Our preliminary investigation took place on Friday, June 8, 2007 from 7:30 p.m. to approximately 11:00 p.m. Weather conditions were clear and dry. The cemetery ground is covered with grass and various types of moss including Elkhorn moss. The resulting data contains many photographs of orb anomalies and artifacts. Curiously, the cluster formations and the number of orbs in some of the pictures are unique from other investigations in that the orbs are grouped in mulitple clusters from ground level to - what appears to be - 10 to 15 meters above the ground, some of which are mulitlayered, and some are clearly behind objects like headstones. The team also capture several daytime anomalies without the use of a flash on several different cameras.

Here's a brilliant orb captured during the investigation:
